Jackie Montalvo is a National Emmy Award-winning Producer/Shooter/Editor for NBC News Now.

She is a news producer, editor, and videographer with 6+ years of experience working in broadcast and streaming for NBC News, with a specialty in shooting documentary-style interviews.

She is responsible for pitching stories, reporting and fact-checking, booking voices, shooting footage, preparing live hits and offer notes, writing scripts, and editing packages for NBC News NOW and other NBC News platforms including NBC News, Telemundo, MSNBC, CNBC, and Stay Tuned.

Previously she worked with Dateline NBC, and Backpacker Magazine.

She was a part of the Dateline teams that received a National Emmy Award for Bringing Down Bill Cosby: Andrea Constand Speaks, a 2018 New York Press Club award in Crime Reporting (Unraveled), and two 2018 Headliner Awards (Father’s Day & Bringing Down Bill Cosby: Andrea Constand Speaks).

She was the winner of the Al Neuharth Award for Investigative Journalism at the NAHJ 2023 Ñ Awards for her reporting “Like A Dumping Ground” (NBC News & Telemundo) on El Bario Chamizal in El Paso, TX.

She was part of the team that was nominated for a 2019 Emmy (Reckoning) and was nominated for a National Magazine Award for her work with Backpacker Magazine in 2017.
